About the Role 

The IT Systems Support Officer exists to assist with the helpdesk ticketing system, configuration and troubleshooting of various end user hardware and software.  They also provide general assistance to the ICT team in the completion of key projects, day-to-day tasks, administration and end user and technical documentation.  

This is a two-year fixed term position.

  • Remuneration from Entry $1310.30 per week up to $1532.60 per week plus statutory superannuation currently 11.5%

Desired Skills and Experience

Your average workday will be kept busy by: 

  • Providing professional and efficient first level ICT support to all internal stakeholders. 

  • Configuring and maintain information and access security for end users in line with industry standards.  

  • Assist internal stakeholders either face to face, email or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues.  

  • Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution or escalate to other team members as required. 

  • Ensure all support requests are logged and that records contain accurate, comprehensive and quality information.  

  • Manage Helpdesk tickets; planning and prioritizing systematically to minimise backlog and ensure operational efficiency in accordance with service level agreements.
