Job Description

As a Graduate Operations Engineer at Rous, you will play a vital role in our Operations department, contributing to the effective functioning of essential infrastructure. This contract position is based across two locations: the Administration Building in Lismore in 2025 and then we'll move to Gallans Road in Ballina, that will provide a dynamic work environment, offering a diverse challenges and opportunities for professional growth.

Key responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Supporting the planning, design, and implementation of operational projects within the Engineering category.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and monitoring of critical infrastructure systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participating in data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform decision-making processes.
  • Collaborating with senior engineers to develop technical solutions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Engaging in on-the-job training and professional development initiatives to expand technical knowledge and practical skills.

Note: Location subject to change as Council prepares to relocate, some work sites, by 2026, to new premises at Gallans Rd, Ballina NSW 2478.
